We deliberately made something classic inspired as it was meant for my album. Nick’s contribution on the track is big, and I’m very happy with our endproduct.
We both realize some people will appreciate the obvious wink to Rank 1, and see it as a fun track. But others will conclude it’s ’too much that track’. And that’s okay too. I personally think this kind of trance hasn’t been produced for 20 years, so it’s okay
Awaken Your Passion has grown to become one of my favorites on the album, although I must admit that this has shifted a lot, as I simply like pretty much everything on it, haha.
