how the menstruating beep did you get all that info^ 10 minutes after i've just gotten the mail from the man himself, tracklist, artwork and the whole shebang not included?

The perks of stalk...I mean following Activa on all the things. :p He mentioned something about Movement back when the Origins vinyl pre-order met its minimum number for production, so I've been keeping an eye out. Thought there would already be a thread available, but nay.

Tbh, don't know exactly if it's Movement 1, Movement v01, v1, or what have you, but I'm excited either way. Curious to see what you and the others have prepped for this.

Ah yes. It was on FB around 15:30. I was in a meeting when got distracted by this haha.

Quite funny I’m there right above Aerium.

Anyway, really excited to be on a Black Hole Recordings compilation. Can’t wait to have the physical product in my hands. Looking forward sharing the new ‘2000-sounding’ Julian-original with everyone. There will be two versions, the deeper one on this cd, and a more light ‘anthemic’ one will be released later as well.

Line up does look pretty sweet. Great to see @Magnevi @jetflag, @EnigmaState and @Coredata all on the same comp. Congrats guys. Got good hopes for this one.

Would love to see Rob dip into the bandcamp underground scene at some point and try and encourage names like Repulsive Force, Oprofessional, Bliss Inc etc to make very Trancey entries alongside the names listed here.

Mandatory post here so I am kept in the loop. Looks interesting.

I definitely hope the end product is good enough. I don't want to buy a physical copy even for the good cause if the result is average, but if the quality is good enough, I'd love to invest some money to order the double CD.

Big optimism about this. Scene was in massive need for a new compilation and Activa is the right man to take this on.

More artwork reveals. Per Rob:

One of the most exciting parts of this project, besides all the new music and artists that have submitted tracks, is the fact that the legendary Ian Anderson (whose work you will definitely know from Wipeout, Gatecrasher, Satoshi Tomiie, Aphex Twin / Warp Records and the list goes on) agreed to design the artwork for the #Movement compilation.

Yeah quite nice design. MOVEMENT is a little bit hard to read, but doesnt really matter, and the color choices are nice.

Saw on FB that the featured artist Ona is actually an alias of Coredata

Pre-order links coming this Friday, comp out in July:

Hi all, as you probably know by now, Bandcamp waive their fees on certain Fridays in the year - usually the first Friday of the month.
The last one until august is this Friday - 5th on May so we have decided to launch the pre-order of the Movement compilation a little early. The full project will be released in July but as there are no Bandcamp Fridays until then and I know that many people like the platform and to support the artists in this way, the option is there.
I am also looking into a free download for anyone who places an order for a physical copy on Friday as a thank you for your support. [...]

Darn. Bandcamp Friday and the other news are too interesting to keep me away from this. I will have to pre-order this and hope the compilation delivers.
