Dare I say I may actually be interested in checking their new album out?

I personally haven’t listened to much of above and beyond Persistently after they changed their style back around 2011/2012. However, some of the more recent tracks do appear to have hints of their older style attached to them. I’m hoping their New album will lean more into the style and than their more mainstream/2.0 style. We will see.

Guys are playing on Coachella, there was already one new ID with Zoë and two new things with Richard Bedford, this album will be great ✌️

PS. And a title track with Justine Suissa  ❤️

Bigger Than All Of Us is probably one of their best tracks with Justine since... god knows how long.
Even though it sounds like Deadmau5 - Brazil (2nd Edit) near the buildup. Also, some chord stabs @ 52:00 remind me of Prelude!

I also dare to say I am intrigued of this release. With both We Are All We Need & Common Ground I was positively surprised when hearing them. Sure it was pretty much pop trance (dance?), but in album length that style and those tracks worked surprisingly well. Even to the point where I decided to purchase Common Ground despite disliking many of their releases of the time (IMO extended versions were usually worse with those basslines...).

I haven't listened any of this stuff yet, but I will check this when it comes out.

[Zero Gravity (A&B Remix)]

Feels like a bad attempt at Big Room

There's more but I honestly dislike the sound so much I can't remember at the top of my head.
That's crazy cause Zero Gravity is one of the best post-uplifting tracks they've done. Takes inspiration from older stuff* and legitimately transforms it into something contemporary. (*Yves Deruyter - Back To Earth (Rave Mix) / 808 State - Cubik). There was a short while from 2013 to 2015 where they were releasing one instrumental club track that I loved each year and I was hoping that trend continued, but it didn't :(

Bigger Than All Of Us is probably one of their best tracks with Justine since... god knows how long.

The electro intro sounds like a more subtle and refined "Peace of Mind" too which is an upgrade. I think the Prelude chords might be a straight up sample of themselves XD

Anyway, as for the Coachella debuts, nothing is jumping out at me that I absolutely love, but it already sounds so much better than WAAWN and Common Ground.

The big question is:
Is the ID track @ 40 minutes included in this tracklist??
"Into The Light" would fit well.

When You Believe (with Victoria Horn) played on ABGT today as ID 2 :)

54:11

Not sure if I preemptively make a thread for that as a single or not. It seems they are drip feeding the album through releases. It's getting to the point that when it comes out it will all be known one way or another.

Also, for those who may have been watching Gabriel and Dresden streams, Dave played a very clean version of that track featuring Oliver and Opposite The Other.

Track lengths can be seen on Bigger Than All Of Us by Above & Beyond | Releases | Anjunabeats, it seems that Into The Light will be an interlude track, not the one you like @TeardropNL.

Thinking about the other two Above & Beyond solos, Stepping In seems to be more like an intro track, something chill as usual, Everywhere I Go seems to be a track with lyrics rather than instrumental, will that be Tony singing like Black Room Boy?

They just shadow dropped this btw

Looks like a mistake (7 days off schedule) but I mean, cool? I personally think this sounds nothing like A&B (just vaguely).
If you look at the credits it becomes more evident (Riccardo Derio, PROFF and Toby Jacob? worked on it too).

Interesting, however its not an instant love track tbh

This tune has really grown on me over the last week. I still get a bit confused with the chorus not having 8 bars but sound wise I really like it. Brings late 2009-10 vibes :)

It's really nice, way better than We're All We Need and Common Ground. As in, it doesn't sound as pop/mainstream as those two others did.

Aside from everything we've been spoiled:
Stepping In is your typical album introduction, nothing fancy.
Everywhere I Go is weird, I don't like the sample switch gimmick to be honest. I feel like it could work if heavily layered with other stuff as it stands out too much.
Blood From A Stone, really nice and it works. Reminds me of Hybrid Minds, wouldn't be surprised if some funny credits show up.
Ride at Dawn with Zoë is absolutely amazing, like Quicksand but not as strong, but still good.
Heartland is nice, very acoustic though. Same goes for Lullaby with Zoë. Potential for bangers if they make Club Mixes.
'Til Im Home is nice, 132BPM, fast paced and strong in energy. I really like it.
Sailing is cool and slightly different from the version they played before. The GPS line though...

BTW: Can someone confirm what Richard sings in Blood From A Stone near the break? I swear I heard him singing he is "s#cking on b#lls" or something. I wish I was messing around.
