While it’s a couple of releases off, it’s a big release - the 100th release of the Borderline label.

It’s been a crazy couple of years since restarting Borderline and it’s been an absolute pleasure to work with some fantastic producers.

As a long terms artist of the label it’s made sense that myself and Marcos’ collaboration track finally sees the light of day - this thing was finished quite some time ago but slipped through some cracks and sat, lost on a hard drive until I bumped into it recently.

With Factoria being a pivotal background person for Borderline, going ahead with his track Sculptured as part of the release was a no brainer and as my rework hadn’t seen a full, extended, digital release, that goes in too.

We have a couple more corkers to release before the big 100, but I wanted to give you a sneak peak.

Not too convinced about the new logo, as I really thought the old one got the point across nicely. That said, I'm willing to wait and see how it looks in other contexts.

Curious to hear what Elevate sounds like.

I only like the intro/outro pluck melody of Elevate, main melody completely changes the direction heading towards Fade to black & Airwave style. Maybe ill appreciate it more listening through the Flac file..

Elevate is good, but I preferthe Sculptured remix, which is for me the highlight odf the Movement compilation.
The track is 9/10 for me, Elevate around 7/10 I guess...

Elevate reminds me of a carbon copy of an old John Askew track tbh. Fade to Black style. Know Rob had a big hand in helping Askew produce a lot of tracks around that time.

Elevate reminds me a lot of peak Discover sounds - like @TJY001 said, very early Askew liquidy sounds. Would have loved to hear the breakbeat during the build-up as well, I'm such a sucker for breaks in trance.

The clap in Sculptured is taken from Nu NRG - Dreamland (or a very good copy) and the kick drum screams Nu NRG as well. Ironically, the lead made me think of Onova, which also has his first release on the imprint right before this EP. Overall a stellar remix and EP and Borderline continues to prove it is the best trance label around.

Elevate is technically well produced but is musically uninspiring for me. A fairly obvious trancer that's been done many times before.
Sculptured (Activa rework), however, is an absolute beauty. As a previous comment said, the melody contains lovely melancholic vibes. Nice epic pads too. A great track to finish off a set, fittingly it was the last track on the Movement CD. Will be interesting to hear what the original mix sounds like too.
