I was waiting long years for any reference to Rank 1 - Airwave title in Laurent’s track

It is kind of my style and was my alley back then (maybe I should make something like i did then?), but I never can keep melodies simple enough .D This is just perfect from Airwave, he nailed it

And I'm glad I can now share my meme from few years ago about another dude guessing one of Airwave's tracks and after hearing the artist name, he said "Rank 1, no?"

that's true, I don't get how it can be likeable, it's pure primitive shite and far worse than the solid melodic basis that he has in the principle of forgiveness just to compare with the other his new track

He definitely has intended to go for an obnoxiously commercial sound with this one, I'm curious if any DJs will pick up on this. Simple and repetitive melodies like that are what the mainstream players like to play.

Why fail, it's just as annoying as many Rank1 tracks are, lol

But despite it being repetitive and commercial sounding, there are many things about this track that I enjoy.
Especially the summery sound of that lead and that overall sunny, euphoric vibe.

Me too!! I like this track, simple but nicely executed synth riff, and I grew up in the 80's so anything vaguely with that sound creates a rumble in the pants department

Lead is absolutely inspired by "modern" Rank 1. You can't make a track with that title and not trying to poke a bit of fun of Piet and Benno.
