I was legit shocked not to find this track already in this section, so I'm amending that now:
In my opinion, this is one of the most melancholic trance songs ever made, and is downright perfectly arranged. Everything is layered and looped for the right amount of bars, and the main melody isn't fully elaborated until nearly the end of it, when the bassline finally changes up the chord progression. But emotionally the song couldn't capture the ethos of its title more. It's a track for when you feel hopeless, sad, or want to scream, and by the end of it you don't necessarily feel better, but you've had the chance for catharsis and are thankful for it.
Laurent explaining the story behind the track - apparently it was titled this because he wanted to be rescued from his release deadline:
I'm not really fond of the remixes because of how perfect the original is, but I'll shout out the ones from Whiteroom and Basil O'Glue:
And Airwave remade it (along with some of his other classics) for the Touareg album in 2008. It's not quite as good as the original, but it keeps the same overall arrangement and adds some more intense percussion. Better for a club IMO:
