Melody isn’t that strong on first listen. Solid none the less, could grow on me.

The thing that makes it less credible is the damn kick, its slow, too hollow,too subby, and just not snappy or charachteristic enough, and listen how its still the loudest element in the track after in the climax. All you hear is basically the kick and pluck, and the other things just get buried in noise. The pluck isnt that great either, but not toooooo bad. I like the build and atmosphere of the track, but it doesnt reach full potential for me. its just a bit too formualic in its arrangements, sound-desing and needs a more original/stronger melody.

Yeah it's crazy how a single QUALITY release these days can end up covering close to 2-3 types of styles released back in the golden era. Almost all the Borderline releases from this year are in my TOTY Trance 2022 Spotify folder.

Uplifting TOTY for me so far!

Really like how the kick and bass kick in during the first min, and how it builds with the driving hi-hats and vocal chops. Once everything gets going in the climax, you get this real sense of speed and drive. It's difficult to put into words, but it's quite unlike all the other uplifting that's been put out in recent years.
