Hoopoe’s second release on Hedjog Records drops the tempo to a proggy 128bpm. Created by accident when an old project failed to load properly, a deep 303 bassline twists behind tribal percussion and the distant sounds of anklung, Bornean tree frogs and digital jellyfish. The track climbs to an airy break in the clouds before plunging back into darkness with hard-hitting stabs, and a final build to the natural crescendo.

That bassline defo sounds more beefier, deeper & tastier than Mindfield, proper impactful bass with character throughout the entirety of it.
Now I'm even more excited for the 3rd single, I feel like this will provably be the opener track to the album based om the proggy build & the bpm coating.

Very slightly reminding me of Ava mea - In the end, not just referring to the bass part but also the overall grove and the way it builds up in a subtle manner.

Massive thanks to everyone who has supported/purchased so far and for the nice comments.

To clarify something, there will be no 'album release'. I decided to split it up and release one track per month, it seemed much more interesting in terms of building hype and support rather than put out 3 years hard work in one go and have it forgotten 2 weeks later. I'm releasing them in the intended tracklist order, so by October you will have the 10th and final album track, followed by some remix EPs in November and December. You may see some remixes on other labels too...

That's a great way of doing it and much more interesting. It will keep the conversation going and prevent it from just being "another album of the week"-kinda deal. Really looking forward to the next releases!

So, to understand correctly, from the "non-album" we so far have:
#1 Mindfield
#2 Aryaduta
