Magnus Birgersson (Solarfields) is one of my favorite Ambient music producers out there,
Krister Linder is one of my favorite male vocalists out there.

Imagen my utter delight when the two teamed up and released an album under the new moniker Lucid Haze.

Couldn't resist, Had to make a remix of one of their tracks, Freebie 4 all since its a cheekie bootleg.

Not a huge fan of those vocals, but the instrumental is quite nice.

Hats I do find a bit hissy and too pronounced, if I am being picky.

Well overall that’s a bit fkn awesome!.

Vocals are cool- Love them.

Hats i like but i think should be louder. Especially the 909 style open hat. The clap could be louder maybe too i reckon.

I like its general essence but I’m hearing ‘something’ off about the kick (probably just me but some kind of frequency or decay length or distortion there seems out) . I also feel the track might benefit from more of a bass line or some bass sound. Or a louder bass from what’s already there.

Piano is amazing. Stunningly atmospheric.

Overall though the atmosphere is great here. All those pads and Arpeggios . Lost in their dreaminess. The floating feeling capable listening to this track is sky high.

what you're hearing on the kick is a the cubase sampler amp. Tried making an Alt F4 - Alt F4 kind of kick but it defo needs some work heh.

I love the ideas here, and especially the style! - it reminds me of the beginning years of the ASOT label. That said, I think it's at 90% of what it could be. Sounds slightly unfinished from all perspectives (sound design, arrangement, mixing, mastering...). I don't mind the vocals that much but I miss some creativity there. Has great potential overall.

i'll look into it but remember, this was a live recording, not a studio recording that I had to AI-split into seperate stems too. so. I can only work with that much heh.

the instrumental of Sol is a studio recording though, should clear up a lot of imperfections.
