Sitting on the throne already and no movements yet - sounding very promising! Looking forward to listening to the entire thing.

Love the reverb on that lead!
Nice atmospheric soundscape, I'm going to test this one while ripping through some nice open landscapes on my XC MTB.

It's definitely hitting my taste buds in a good way. 😊

Ahhhh this one. The LFO blip blops in the breakdown on this were done live on a Nord Lead 3. After recording that the wet/dry was automated on the delay to make it sound a bit raw then bring dynamics back. But… the coolest thing on this is the blip blops are actually the pad that runs throughout and is introduced way before the break. That’s done using the wet/dry on Valhalla Shimmer; you can mute the incoming signal leaving only the reverb. Feeding it sounds with movement/modulation then doing this creates interesting pads - which is what I did here. In the start of the breakdown Shimmer is slowly modulated to 100% dry then equally slowly brought back to 100% wet to re-create the pad - while I manually altered the LFO rate on the Nord.
I loved that session!! Took me about 4 goes to get it right, in the end having the reverbs/delay modulations running while I did the manual adjustments.
The lead was written by Deepcry (Jon), with some edits by me. He wrote that in about 25 minutes which is why I hate him. The sound was a bit meh though so I made the final sound on an Access Virus Ti with some sparkly rhythmic delay to give it that movement you hear.
The twangy hook is off my Access Virus B. The rest was Jon’s work, produced and tweaked by me. We’ve not done a collab quite this way before but it worked well. But….. the last time we did an original we were both living close to each other. Not anymore…..

The melody is really sounding "off" to me and is way too repetitiv/monotone. Its also one of the weirdest melodies ive heard. Not sure if thats a positiv or not. It also doesn't seem to fit in with the more slick modern beats. I hope im not the only one noticing this and that this isnt just seen as a "being negative" comment. The break is pretty neat though have to admit.

I think the melody is good, not weird, but repetitive after some time yes, but only a small amount. I was waiting for the second melody component to come in as I think it was doing a perfect job at build up melody and I thought the track could do with that extra layer for the journey. The acid parts are nice and the atmosphere is fantastic. I like this a good amount.

Enjoyed this one. I really like the melody, don't find it weird or repetitive. Great little fx scattered around the track. Also would have liked a second melody or something to elevate it to the next dimension, would help add just that little more energy and build. Nice one!

Agreed but I reckon if we were to look back at this tune from 2-3 years from now I can almost certainly say that most people with be happy with it as it is (main track structure & melody is unique as it is, sometimes 2nd / counter melody can kill the vibe completely). Also it might be a mood dependant track :)

Still need to purchase cut my dreams EP via band camp then purchasing this release for sure. Awesome stuff 👏

Also would to hear a Narel collab with Aerium or Enigma state.

Nice track @Narel with deepcry gonna check out the remix now. I like the intro of the original and buildup but after the breakdown it sounds a bit strange. Can't find the remix anywhere @facade1984 Please make more cleaner sounding progressive like this @Narel I know it's not easy either

There is no remix of this mate, never was, so don’t know where you’ve got that from.
