Very good album, I listened to it today and thought every track was solid or great. I am a sucker for ambient Trance and yours were nice. Walrus track was also my favorite.

I checked out some of your old releases @Narel, the driving stuff is good too. Have you moved away from that now or was the album sort of special in regards to focusing more on atmospheric stuff.

Great album. Had my doubts from the preview but they have all been proved wrong once I put my headphones on and listened to the whole thing. Fantastic stuff. Really can't choose my favourite. Every track is great in its own way. Loving the synth work, you can clearly hear how much effort went into this.

Here's the Bandcamp embed (the entire album, make sure to rewind to 1st track if it's not there already):

Thanks man : ) It's really difficult to provide adequate previews of tracks like those on the album - except the x2 proggy ones. Kirill did a great job providing longer previews than normal. And yeah, a lot of time went into programming sounds for this.

Fantasitc album, loved the diversity of tracks and general feel of the entire approach. This one below is my favourite so far and now the ToTW. Nice one

Thanks : ) This one was the last track completed for the album. It's pretty much all done on a Roland JP8000 with A LOT of post processing of sounds off the Synth - except the lead - that's just good old Supersaw.

Nah I'm still doing proggy/trancy/acid stuff on Forescape, J00F etc. When I do albums I like to mix up a bunch of genres I listen to. There's never really a plan - just switch on the machines and have a mess around until something sounds good and usually some direction for a track comes from that. However, for this album I did want to have a go at the drone/space ambient thing. There's about 3 tracks unfinished for the album so I think I'm going to finish those up then self release those on Bandcamp. Then a dark, acidy track out on J00F in June : )

Everytime i hear Alonefield i think of something dark and supernatural. Could fit in an X-Files episode or something like that.
Not sure if you read in the album write up, 'Alonefield' was inspired by the secret 'untitled' ambient track on Queen's Made In Heaven album. One of my favourite ambient pieces ever - on a stadium rock band album!! WTF! Seriously, check it out. Alonefield started as a dark-ish ambient piece which you can hear from the start. Then about halfway through a sort of reverb accident happened with my Virus TI. So I looped that to make a happy/major chord vibe and it switches the mood really nicely. The whole thing came together with the roving low pass filter mid-bass drone over the Nord Lead 3 plucks towards the end - I love that bit. Glad you like the album : )

Damn you Narel! What an incredible album! Only had a chance to listen to it now. Wonderful journey. Had to tell my wife „leave me alone I need to listen to this“ 😅

This went under my radar but the one track I sampled (Everstone) is good. Album added to my listen list.

Just had a listen again. One of the best (or at least my favourite) albums in the past 10 years I'd say. Quality electronic music, very lovely stuff.
Really?!!! That means a lot. If you read my interview on here you’ll know of my self doubt. The follow up album is 85% done. Similar vibe, better production, more finished ideas, and some new ideas and influences explored. And includes ‘Cut My Dreams’ for now, unless the unlikely happens and it gets signed, but I think those chances are gone.

I just heard your album this year, what a wonderful album that makes me listen it for more than 10 times! My favourite songs are Tell Them of Us and There's the Walrus (the sound like knocking and shaking a window with metal frames is really interesting, making me want to do that on my windows haha).

Thrill to know that you are making another album includes Cut My Dreams, I can't imagine how wonderful that album will be, as Cut My Dreams is one of my favourite tracks this year. How is its progress now, can the album be released next year?

I will add my praise too. You did something great with this album. Tracks cannot easily be put into boxes. That’s how an artist album should be, the moving into new unknown territory for the scene and the individual.

Walrus, Counter and Everstone the top picks.

‘Cut my dreams’ won’t be on it as it was released through TFR. So far ‘album 3’ (no name yet) is an evolution of ‘diary of a synthy kid’, lots of ambient and dub techno, one beautiful prog trance piece, and some DnB. I’m trying to do some prog and tech trance bits now. There’s about 20 tracks in all but I’m cutting those brutally to get around an hour run time.

Thanks. I still have doubts about this album but it gets a lot of love on here so I should get out of my own head.
Glad you enjoy it : )

Is the cover of this album a tribute to a famous album? I remember that I might have seen a similar cover on vinyl when I was visiting a second-hand record shop. The artist of that album is a pioneer like Jean-Michel Jarre I knew at that time, but I couldn't find the similar cover now.

Or this was just happened in my dream. @Narel

Nope. That’s my two sons on my hardware synths. I took this pic as it fitted with the album title. I’m a massive Jarre fan and there aren’t any of his albums with a cover like this - unless there are some alternative releases with different covers I’ve not seen - Japanese maybe.

I have checked Jarre too and find no album cover like that. Then I checked other pioneers I know like Aphex Twin, Brian Eno and more.. but find nothing.

However, I still strongly think it's a piece of memory in reality, I even asked my friends about that maybe 1 or 2 weeks after the visit, quite strange..
