Some great sounding ideas in here, a lot of variation as well!About 15 years ago I produced lots of tracks just for fun (roughly from 2005 to 2008). Exploring the possibilities of Fruity Loops and famous old VST’s as Albino, Vanguard and the Superwave Trance. I created about 50 complete tracks and uncountable ideas.
Just reopening this projects after so many years is so much fun, although it took lots of times to trace the original drum samples (after switching computers for 4 times). I recorded some unfinished projects and made a compilation video of 8 of those 'playing' sessions with projects 'to finish someday'
This video contains 8 ideas, which are not worked out yet. Only the main patern exists, so no automation, no intro's, the buildups in this video are spontaneous... But they give an idea of what the tracks could sound like The problem is I'm pretty good in the creative process, love to write melodies and choose the right sounds. But I'm not so good in terms of mastering and use of FX. I'm a great writer, an average producer but a bad engineer. So if anyone feels the need to work those tracks out (together with me of course), just contact me. Enjoy!
That techno track is downright evil soundingMy old music from 2006 to 2010 is on an old mac, cant get it to windows. But have some tracks from the last years, didnt care about mixing so they are quite bad
Here an ambient track, its a collage of 12 impro loops with different lengths

Can’t wait to hear what you two cook up
Thanks man! I really love to make very different sounding tracks... If you like the variation, I also made two 'artist' mixes of my tracks:Some great sounding ideas in here, a lot of variation as well!
Thanks very much! All 4 sound great, but the first one is is melodic and beautiful.
great piece!Horrible trance production of mine from 2019.
You think so? I think its pretty bad compared to my newer stuff. I tried to make a new version out of it but it failed every time. It just the overall production I guess. Thanks tho!great piece!
As some of you may (or may not) know. I took a massive hiatus from making music before jumping back in early 2020.
I'd lost most of my music from the early-mid 2000's and have been hunting down bit's and pieces of my back catalogue for a few years.
So I thought it would be fun if we had a thread where we can post our older material (and in an attempt to breathe some life into this forum!)
I appreciate a few of you have not been producing for long, but feel free to jump in as well.
So this is a track I only recently got the full version of back (Shout out to Calvin!) I'd previously only had a set ripped version from the Tranceaddicts Unite Mix from way back when.
He's also hooked me back up with the Endre remix of this as well, but sadly the file is a bit damaged and skips a lot. I might still upload it anyway at some point.
I was like 19 years old when I made this back in early 2003 and while I knew how to write and arrange music, I had absolutely no clue on how to mix a track properly (as you can no doubt hear)
Bonus:
I also found the original thread from 2003 on the old TA forums:
Bren-F - Cyan Dawn (Original Mix) [extended hifi version]
www2.tranceaddict.com
I have no idea what the [extended hifi version] nonsense is all about before you ask
But it's great to see some of the old faces on there; Mart, Shepless, Endre, John O'Callaghan, Bryan Kearney, Icone and all the rest - what a hotbed of talent that place was back then!
Anyway, enough of me - get posting your old tunes!
