Very cool tune, love the Andy Moor esque vocal snips. Sasha has released some decent tunes on the LNOE label.

Absolutely!
He one of a few from the big guys, who've retained a unique style in the modern times.
He hasn't swept away with the fads.

Meh. Its too polished and safe imo. The typical twinkly really clean but kinda empy unintersting slower modern prog. Xpander is 10 or even 20 times better. It was so much more dense and layered. Here everything is so thinly spread out.

Oh yeah, I missed this one somehow. The synth sounds indeed very X-pander-ish. But its less prominent and not that melodic, but still a great one.
original 6,5/10
daydream mix 8/10

I just can't compare any modern production to those iconic classics.
It doesn't make sense, because classics will always sound better to us, even when it's a very good modern production.

It is nice to have Sasha bringing similar vibes in a modern production.

Yeah, you have a point and i agree, its an unfair comparasion, but i do think one can judge their respective musical efforts, which i do, buy i have to admit i am biased, which we all are, morr or less.
