Time has passed. With some distance I can say: I underestimated the Airscape mix. It’s ISOS20‘s swimming pool on a hot summer day, resonating until sunset and beyond, being in a state, listening to the crickets in the dark, smelling damp air of fruits and grass, having snippets of these melodies in mind and doing a secret dance between the fields on being alone. Yeah, I think it has some of this certain ISOS atmosphere inside I didn‘t recognize on the first listens. As I said before, mixes can evolve in a later context.
If I had to decide for 3 mixes, I would take the following: Solarstone (the most quality and going deeper one on here), Airscape (the most happy summer one) and last … I don’t care, I am fine already with these two ones. S8&T I won’t touch anymore. Markus is more or less indifferent. York was fun, but had no further effect. Zoya lacks of inertia, but is definetely more emotional as the other ones. She has the biggest take off moment of complete ISOS20 with mixing in the lush Above & Beyond and then going deeper with The Thrillseekers. Yeah, I go for Zoya as third. She has even the most interesting cover, too. The discussions here, having space for social and friendly resonances was equal valuable. Happy jubilee!
