Jonas Steur/Estuera. And an (old) Airscape one with the more powerful stuff 😉

This reminds me of my teenage years when I played the game Medal of Honor: Allied Assault a looooooooot. It was a very popular (online) game. I played it for so many years that the community became very small. People played newer games. Then I ended up playing for Team NL even. Pretty cool, but yeah... the community was simply much smaller. Lots of competitive gamers were playing Battlefield and Call of Duty and what not. Ha.

But who cares? It's still ISOS. It's fun. Can't wait to hear the mixes.
Well, I suppose you've achieved a childhood dream of yours to appear in the same series as Tiesto started.

oi, I didn't expect something like that, finally a little exciting for a new comp release.

Great looking tracklist by Solarstone, all previews sound promising! I agree with everyone here. Definitely one of the best choices that we have that could fit the OG ISOS vibes.

Congrats to TF membres that are part on the tracklist :D I always consider every artist that was included on ISOS 1-7 very lucky, their names will live in trance eternity for me. I still go back to them every now and then. It can't be nostalgia, they were just fantastic compilation in every way.

We really have to give credits to BH as well, they always have some of the best prices on the scene but omg, 20 euros before taxes for 5 CD mixes and in a nice package? I will definitely preorder it. And you can buy it from official BH shop or Bandcamp. (Armada prices suck and I never buy anything)

I believe we could see Roger Shah taking a mix as well. I wouldn't agree with Paul Oakenfold as mentioned above, his style has been always darker with Fluero labels (his Four Seasons comp is classic, love it). Markus should have never stopped City Series imo, I like them a lot, his style was/is unique combining different trance and not flavors but when I read Markus I would never think ISOS vibes but darker cluby coldhabour trance. I just want proper 5 mixes, not 2 good ones and 3 fillers.

A dream would be to see Tiesto with all his oldschool epic ghost producers, Dennis, Geert etc, to join their forces and make special intros/outros, singles and remixes under old alias. But that can be just a dream haha.

Looks absolute dogshit, just like every other entry after nr 5. Even seeing Slusnik Luna's name doesn't excite me, as it'll likely just be another boring deep trance track. It seems like the progressive scene has collectively decided that 'yes, we believe in progressive music without any drive or excitement whatsoever—let's continue making more deep trance.

I appreciate this release a lot!! Nice idea revealing every week a new mix ❤️And TL of Solarstone looks very promising.

I bet on ZOYA.
Cold Blue would also be an interesting choice.

Let's start with the fact that Shah was already responsible for CD until ISOS 16 in 2020 as Sunlounger, so the chances of him being responsible for CD again as a name and surname are rather slim since he was already on ISOS. Oakenfold is famous for the fact that in 2002 his Southern Sun, of course in the Tiesto remix, greatly increased the popularity of the ISOS compilation. And for this reason he became recognizable and sooner or later he would be responsible for compiling ISOS, even if it goes into dark climates. Schulz and his ISOS go further into dark climates than beach ones and I prefer that he be removed from ISOS completely. Typical mix-up with something else that makes no sense.

I like to see Solarstone's name here. I think he can make really enjoyable mix and he really could fit into the atmosphere.

But six discs? Wow! That sounds quite excessive. I have my concerns it is bit too much and how well you can keep up with the quality. In a sense it could mean there's a nice variety and something which fits to your own taste. On the other hand it could mean many hours of music which isn't your cup of tea.

6 discs is very ambitious😄 Probably overkill and still not interesting enough. Still like the first 7 editions. Progressing through the years and still maintaining that "classic" ISOS sound. Never cared about the RD years and the Markus era was an incohesive selection of dj's & tracks(although there were some nice (intro) tracks selected)

Solarstone is a very good choice to mix one of the discs. I would like to see Tastexperience on one of the other mixes. Fits the mood and nostalgia perfect imo☀️

I wish someone would make ISOS in the spirit of the old ones from Tiesto. But this will never happen again ,because no one makes such music.

This normally happens with mix compilations, they make so many, they saturate and they go away from the original concept that it becomes a normal mix. The same happened with the 'Euphoria' series that went totally went away from the brilliant first concept, after the first few CDs.

I thought the first 7 Tiesto ISOS CDs kept that vibe brilliantly - i never listened to any more when he left it.

I would like the same things but I know that unfortunately it doesn't work like that. 6 discs is very ambitious, it all depends on each person’s tastes. People like the Tiesto series, other prefer the R.D series and another prefer recent vision. I think they will try to put all vision on this 6 discs.

Just my ideaa:
Richard Durand for a classic isos set, York or Chicane or Ferry Corsten for a classic mix, an progressive melodic artist (like Marsh or Estiva with his remix or Trials), Mac&Monday can be cool idea, what do you think ?

I don't know if you've seen it but Black Hole do "Sunset Mix parties" with Solarstone, Craig Connelly, Zoya, Giuseppe Ottaviani, etc. Maybe the headliner of each parties will be on the compil

I would say it like this: Whoever was on the compilation had their mix done. Durand was there so he's out. Ottaviani was there so it won't be the same. Connelly doesn't fit the ISOS vibe for me. Chicane, for example, has deals with Armada Music so he won't be here. At the moment, York will be there and Oakenfold fits. Maybe Ciaran McAuley because he was at the In Search Of Sunset event in Tilburg so I wouldn't be surprised if he was there.

I listened to the mix. Overall , it 's not bad . The first track is just a terrible opening, an absolute miss imho. Then everything listens well. I can't say that I'm thrilled, I'll save a couple of tracks and that's it. I liked the most: Sean Tyas & Enigma State - Recently (Azure Mix),Slusnik Luna - Let Me Breathe, Pablo Gargano - Open Up, Sinful Biz & Facade - Captivate. I have already said that it is difficult to make a masterpiece mix of modern music, there is simply not enough high-quality material, as before. So I would rate this mix within ISOS tematic 4/5

Where did you find the whole mix to listen to?
