Hello people, ✌️

After a list of amazing Trance releases on my label which you can find, obviously, via Beatport's label page here, it's now time to start with a list of (to me) absolutely brilliant progressive tracks (including our top signing of the year which I'll talk to you later when it will be the right time).

So, here's Javier brilliant take on TBFTF single (which saw, in the past, its own dedicated EP, which you can re-listen to via the following TranceFix thread:
THINGS EP

SoundCloud preview:
https://soundcloud.com/landscapes-music-official%2Fthe-boy-from-the-future-things-you-cant-express-jab-vix-remix
the Extended preview will be available via YouTube on release day, as usual.

You can start pre-order it on Beatport and have the download link ready on Oct 11th 2024:
The Boy from the Future - Things 2024 [Landscapes Music] | Music & Downloads on Beatport

Hopefully you'll enjoy this deep prog music journey as much as I did when I first got the remix demo submission. 🤠 ✌️

Sounds very nice! Wish there was more breathing room there, a proper break, but I'm digging this anyways.

Glad to hear, personally I love this version so much, so deep, such a music journey it is!

The track has officially been released today on Beatport, btw. Those want to give it a full listen now you can via YouTube extended version here:

I hope you'll support it on Beatport, should you like the extended preview! 🤠 It does mean a lot to both label and artist involved!

Boring as hell..wheres the drive? Wherez the movement? Wheres the music? All i hear is a tired as hell beat and some snoozeinducing textures underneat. If the music was actually interesting/exciting people would support it.

Theres so many orher ways than beatport btw. Trance artist still lives in the 2010s.

Sometimes there is a moment and place for this type of prog. When I sit at my computer and design or game I find it pretty nice and in this case I like overall atmosphere and chillness of the track. The mastering and balance is very well done, which honestly I really appreciate given how prog can sound today.

OK this subgenre of prog is definitely one of the least exciting, and I really don't think that has to be the case. If there is no focus on drive or rhythm then I would also feel like more musicality should be present. Everything the track currently has to offer is like a foundation for what could have been. It doesn't change direction, have any memorable moments or even one drop of experimentation or originality. I feel like I'm being harsh, because I can listen to this track many times and enjoy it, but were now on year 20 of safe prog music and the change is so desperately needed.

Thanks, I take in all sort of feedback!

thanks! I do appreciate, as said, any sort of feedback, so on this case both pros and cons from your perspective are more than welcome!

It has a good atmosphere, good for a night driving or for a melancholic mood :)
7/10
thanks a lot, glad to hear someone has the right same vibes I had!
I like it, even if I agree with whats being said on it being sleepy night time prog.
Thanks for sharing that! It is, indeed, for me a magnificent night-drive type of track.
I closed my eyes, but in the good way jaja.
Ahaha thanks, hopefully it wasn't about falling asleep.. 😆
Smooth track, but the critiques aren't unfounded.
Thanks for sharing that, I do appreciate! 🙏

Good for the style, poor in the overall context of what progressive music has to offer. The mastering on your label has improved noticeably by the way.
