Just wanted to say thanks for putting this together, must have been a huge effort. Very interesting to see what people liked, and a great resource to discover new tracks.

I think 2023 was a really good year for trance. Its true that "mainstream" trance appears stagnant, but even there it feels like some new influences are coming in. Even if it is mostly about going back to the 90s, it is still a shift from the sound of the last 5 years or so. And overall I was surprised when I listened to the ASOT year mix how many of the tracks I liked. And then you had the two fantastic Movement and Pure compilations, especially the latter is giving me a lot of nostalgic vibes to my favorite trance period of the early 00s.

The more underground genres are striving as well, there was awesome stuff released like the mammoth new GlobalSect compilation or the Pepes Bodega Album (has anybody listened to that album? One of the best Psy albums I have ever heard).
