Ok, to be clear: this sample gives me almost nothing; bassline could remind his older tracks like Maya (I still love it), maybe it’s less agressive but I won’t believe before listening the final version.

Likely his Trance sound in his early days. I actually hear it quite well in here but it also has that Techno kick that he uses in his modern tracks. I like the vocal chops too.

He actually did a 20 year mix on his YouTube not so long ago and it included 30 unreleased Trance tracks from the early days, including Paradox & Checkmate (and some IDs he played back then all had names revealed as well). Over half of the mix was Trance stuff too. Maybe he's been influenced by that as well as the 90s trend coming back into shape to make this one
