Update:

Feeling more optimistic. Life is perculier.
On critical things, we communicate better by text than by being in the same room chatting. My wife may be part ASD. Perhaps myself too. But I went all out and highligted things. Got a ‘worthy’ response. Something we can work on and importantly, it included a reason why things have gone the way they have. I was slightly ‘out’ on my perception of the feelings she has. And now we have formed a plan.

I will sum the current atmosphere up this way.

There is hope. Where there is hope, there is also light. Let’s see if it’s a fading light or a growing light.

I have more optimism now.

9 days at the sea and nature, then 5 days back at work, and then 8 days in the mountains...and a loooong (unplanned) hiatus from music. Its importance is steadily decreasing, from "iT's My LiFe" to just background noise while I commute or do something else.

Any chance you'll still be in London on the 29th of September for the Dancelovehub event?

thank you man. last night was the first night in months where i lay down to sleep and didn't have a panic attack, it's so weird how your subconscious fears and anxieties manifest like that. nothing kills my sense of self-worth more than the idea of being unemployed and on some level i must have been harbouring fears about moving to another city and being broke, like when my mrs and i moved ot london in 2010. thankfully that won't happen again now though. anyways, sydney folks where the plug at

Don't worry over here they offer welfare payments for the unemployed and you get paid $639.00 per fortnight if you are single with no children. Plus they pay Rent assistance as well. I am surprised you were able to find a job I am not getting any offers at all.

we're lucky in that get were granted a 189 PR visa, plus my wife works in law and cross-qualified during covid so she can legally practice out there. she should get at least one job offer in the next few days i hope (she did a bunch of interviews for 2 different jobs a couple of weeks ago) and yeah i'm just transferring within amazon and currently trying to sort a start date with my new boss. i was really hoping for a solid 3 weeks of paid leave but they want me to start in week 2 when there's the small possibility we won't even have a house lol. all good though, got a separate property search company looking after all that for us

It's weird because while it is and continues to be one of the top 3 most butthole clenching anxiety inducing things I've ever lived through, at the end of it I get to go live a better life and have lots of dogs and possibly babies so I feel a bit whiny at times. After this the only stress I need is midi related

Midi related stress. Can definately relate on a constant basis. Bugger that midi thing init? And it’s impossible to do much without it. It’s our fundamental mechanism for equipment communication. We woukd be lost without it. Still a big bugger tho 😁

I don't know what took me so long to start playing tennis since I have loved it for years, but now I am and I'm enjoying every second of it. I feel like I could just spin the ball for hours across the net.

Brilliant man. It’s such a lovely game. I played a lot when I was younger in my early teens- late 80s, early 90s. Summers were often filled with tennis matches between me and a few friends and often my father. I had free access to my school tennis courts!

My beautiful turquoise tennis racket was made by none other than : Yamaha! - I mean what other brand ‘would’ I choose ? They made cracking synths so I wasn’t going to have a Wilson was I 🤣
