What a hard question. These countries all had so much good music.

My question is, why has Spain contributed so little, compared to everyone around them? I struggle to think of one good producer. I know there must be some.

'Oscar Mulero' was the BIG name of spanish 'Trance' scene in the 93-95 years, search for his live sets from 'The Omen' club on youtube. he is still active in the 'Techno' area, already a living legend

Voted for UK, they had the best underground sounds. And today they have Enigma State and Coredata, my two favorites from last year.

Was it really Germany in where trance began, as some mentioned here ? I thought the American and British hippies in Goa when they got hold of the Japanese Atari equipment is when it formed the first trance culture? Then some of the sound made it back across the world and merged with the American house/techno export and Dance 2 Trance track introduced the new sound?

The late 80's and early 90's 'Goa' sound was 'New Wave', 'Industrial', 'Break Beat', 'New Beat', 'EBM', 'Italo Disco', 'Electro', 'Acid House', 'Rave', 'Acid Tekno', all under 128 bpm... in '93 the music was sped up and became 'Goa Trance', also first 'Goa Trance' labels came to life only in 1993
