Gotta say I still prefer the 2004 mix. And who wouldn't, I'm sure even Steve himself was aware of this. But this isn't all that bad, still has some new stuff on there (such as those pads in the climax, which is a nice addition).

Even though I am a big soundsnob and lover of clean-sounding,accurate precise music, theres something about the roughness of the analouge days (in trance) that makes those tracks better. I cant explain it really.

I think it's a decent remix. The question for me is, was it really needed though? Steve's productions have always sounded so clean and pristine, the old remix still sounded pretty modern and up-to-date for me.

Guess producers just want to have fun and try being creative on a track they love, just for the sake of it. But you are right the Original still sounds modern and fresh. Would have liked to see Steve try something more experimental around the iconic melody

Haha, this statement is just an over-reaction. Its not thaaaat bad, but it still isnt good. Why did he try to mask the mainlead? To me it sounds like the main-lead isnt the main focus anymore, which translates to that nothing really is the main focus anymore. In old tracks you had the mainsynth being the loudest/ phatest then the kick was subdued but the other elements could still come through in the background like the basslines and all the other percussions elements.

Cool rework. My favourite mix is actually the Original, feel like that doesn't get a lot of love compared to the Original Thrillseekers Remix tbh, but all 3 mixes are very enjoyable
