Am I the only guy that would input a phrase like: “give me 100 extended trance track in style of Gouryella and System F”.

There's always something 'ugly', it's hard to put in words but it puts me off from everything that's done by AI solely - images, videos, now music and I've heard that from the others too, that they have this feeling of aesthetic disgust.

I can't remember their names, but I follow a few AI artists on instagram and they make really beautiful and charming short artistic videos. When a new vid pops up I will share here. I know what you mean though, the typical ai output has this soulless feel to it.

Will be nice when AI can identify and remove vocals from tracks, allowing you to create dub mixes whenever you want. I have a feeling this capability will be coming soon.

Ai artists…. Is still an artist?
guess it depends on what controls they have, if they just randomly generate something from a simple phrase with enough attempts to get a decent result that's definitely nothing to do with being an artists from the common sense point of view. although, considering the modern sick fake world, I'm pretty sure these twats will call themselves artists and will get their share of success if they get invested much enough.

Already can.
It's not perfect, you still get some artifacts, depending on the track, but name one you want a dub mix of and I'll run it through RX10 and see what it comes up with ;)

I think we'll see a completely AI generated number one Billboard song in the near future.
Ultimately, it's not all about the quality of a song that get's it to number one these days, but the marketing and getting it air-play.
Generating the song itself is not too hard, the analytics already exists for stuff like effective song structure and popular chord progressions. AI vocals are insanely good these days as well.

If they can come up with an AI generated character mascot as the "singer" then that could appeal to kids (Think of novelty songs by cartoon characters, Frozen, The Chipmunks, Crazy Frog etc.) then a savvy record label could probably get it to #1 on the novelty factor alone.

That's not to say that will open the flood gates, novelty tracks by nature tend to be 1 hit wonders, but it would certainly be a landmark.

tried new Synplant already out of curiosity, firstly - its synth tweaking GUI is terrible, ruins any workflow. its sound to synth AI is good at recreating some shorter sounds with transients like plucks, but for leads, pad etc it's pretty useless. overall I find its character of sound not really fitting trance productions, more like a dubstep edgy sounding thing.

Cheers, that saves me some time then ;)

i think he raised a realistic topic. There are probably trans people who really just ‘feel’ they should be the opposite gender. Fine.

But it’s simply true, that there are - in the last 3-4-5 years - a LOOOOT more weird people, who seem unhappy, confused, messed up. Are they trans, or are they… lost?

(You know, with strange extravagant clothing, green hair, deep unhappy unstable look on the face, not sure how to describe it. )

I think a part of them has mental problems. That has nothing to do with being trans or not. But it’s just more common now, perhaps because of social media or social pressure, that a lot of people seem… confused about their being.

That’s how I see it, sorry. My husband thinks the same as me about this 🤷🏻
