Lol my 15 year old self is squealing; Blueman and Leinonen were two of my very favourite artists back then. The track itself is pretty good; it's bombastic but not overdone like some of Blueman's older productions. It's still focused and that's a great asset.

Steroid trance on 128 bpm. Sounds very weird and slow.

I don't think the melody itself stands out as much as in some older Andy Blueman tracks. It's very basic. The fact that it's so slow doesn't help.

As a huge Andy Blueman fan I must say this is an OK track, at least I enjoy it more then his 2013-2014 tracks with Driftmoon.

I think it's quite similar to the stuff Simon O'Shine released during the last ~7 years on his Audioresearch label.

Not mentioning here "Away From The Sun 2020" as it was most likely a fully Ronny K. tune which is completely different from Andy's 2010 version (been waiting 10+ years for the release but in the end I received a fully Ronny K. tune).

But "Shadowcaster" is still too far from his pre-2011 stuff which I consider as the best stuff trance music has delivered to my ears from my favourite uplifting trance producer.

In any case I'm glad that Andy has agreed to be featured on a trance release - who knows, maybe he'll actually make a comeback to his pre2010 roots.

P.S. still wish he'd release "Seven Cities" and "Walk The Edge" remixes along with original "Cydonia" (which he and Ronny promised to rework but never did).

Not sure why its so low slow,but that cheap plasticky steroid kick and clap really ruins it for me - i do like that bit-crushed bit of percs in the build up though. Some nice female vocal samples,melody isnt too bad.

If I had listened to it without knowing the artist, I would have never thought it was a Blueman song. Super average
