The third part is actually less interesting, but I still loved watching it

This track will be on the ASOT Ibiza 2023 compilation. It's only a matter of time until the final version comes out and we will evaluate it against the DEMO version.

EDIT: This is the cover of the new single :)

Fadogia is a plant that has been traditionally used in African herbal medicine for various purposes, including as an aphrodisiac and for its potential benefits on testosterone levels. However, scientific research on its effects is limited, and more studies are needed to confirm its safety and efficacy.

It’s not the worst ‘asot-sounding’ tune. It’s not oldschool at all though. Main arp synth sounds thin. I don’t like the sidechaining on the arp.

Also don’t like that the Picotto bass is only just as a gimmick, and not as the actual bass.

The chord changes in the end seem a bit forced to me, trying to make it more ‘complex’ but it doesn’t add much to the track imo.

With more time spent on the atmosphere, like Status Excessu D, it could have been a better track.

I am not hating it, but I'm not sensing any hint of consistency here. Like they picked elements from different eras, styles and producers and just arranging them without any thought for flow or consistency - though that may be the consequence of so many producers working on a single track and everyone wanting to add something distinctive. The melody doesn't work for me either; I agree with @Magnevi on basically everything he said. In the end it's uninspired.

That said, I can imagine it working for the crowd it's aimed at.

Four blokes trying to appeal to as many people as possible. Bring in the likes and hopefully the interest towards what they usually churn out.

Instead of it being an immense meeting of four minds, it has only faint elements of interest and sounds like a Robinson's squash anthem. One part juice diluted in four parts water.

Exactly! It feels like they sat around and brainstormed what they thought would be good ideas, instead of getting into "the flow" and just making something out of pure inspiration. Producers here may know what I'm on about, there's a huge difference between the two.

It's fantastic. Really - brilliant track. The only slight critique is the key change which I am gonna try and edit out but the rest of the track is magic. Best ASOT anthem by far.

I've already listened to this song 100 times and I have the impression that the guys found the right moment to sit down and do something together :) Good anthem at ASOT in Rotterdam. A place where a new history of events will be saved :)

Sounds like a hodgepodge of different ideas, not entirely convincing nor truly memorable, but it certainly has its charms.

I recently went back to this. I wasn't impressed at first and then didn't think about it afterwards (busy few months) but hearing it now, I actually really like it baring that one section which I feel takes it from a great Trance track, to EDM. An easy chop and paste and it makes it so much better.
There's clearly a lot of classic Trance references in there.
Saltwater - The Legacy (the vocal)
Binary Binary - 1998
Dumonde
PPK - Ressurection
Mystery - Mystery
Also the notable Ferry Corsten open hat, crash and reverse crash.

The track is an 8/10 for me, but the shit EDM key change drops it down to a 6/10 for me.

To be fair your tracks sound more professional compared to this track made by 4 people who have way more experience than you. I think people are being too nice to these guys. I would send this track to the recycle bin/landfill never to be seen or heard ever again. Maybe I dare you see if you can do a remix of this track to see if you can improve it.

Opinions differ. For me it's the track of the year. That's funny, because I'm a die hard Anjunadeep 122 / 124 bpm melodic house music fan. This track though, is exactly where I came from..
