The last release by the great pairing of Airwave and Ferry Tayle for more than a decade, and IMO one of the best uplifting tracks of the 2010s. This was the last gasp of Airwave's "proglifting" style that he pioneered throughout the 00s, before he went all-in on the cinematic prog style of his Atlas Winds era. There was also a similar Cape Town track made at this time - Apollo 13 - that sadly was never released.

I like especially that the climax, with that perfect synth melody, just keeps building through layers of synths and strings in the background, longer than the average track might, building up to something truly euphoric. You come back to Earth (unlike the original Challenger astronauts, may they RIP) feeling lighter from this trip into space.

There was an uninspired, trouse-y Paul Ercossa Remix that is not even worth mentioning.

What a amazing one, but why did they make such a happy and uplifting feeling when the sample and event they reference is so tragic and sad  I get so much hope and optimism from the melody which feels wrong.
