Our cdc came out and admitted 42% of the 850k corona deaths are not from corona. They lied the entire time. They admitted it. When someone lies 50% of the time, you dont tend to trust them.

I feel this is purely a political decision which will only polarize the people more (which is useful for the elections, I guess). I repeat, I don't really like him or agree with him on anything regarding health or medicine. His family seem like a bunch of loud-mouthed fools, and they all played a hand in this with their statements. But what do we do now? Shame and humiliate them, oust Novak from pro tennis because he does not want to do something that has nothing to do with tennis? Here's a guy who donated 1 million Euros at the start of the pandemic to Italy, and the same amount to Serbia. He hasn't done everything wrong...

And the solution to deport him is too extreme for me probably, surely they could have put him in quarantine or limit his movements, test him every day for COVID, make him wear a mask every second he's not on the field and what not? Deportation only sends a message.

Tough to say, but I agree with capitalism over socialism all day. I think the future will hold a better system, but right now, we got the best we can.

I do want to be clear that I am not against vaccines. Many vaccines have saved many lives. I do not trust this corona vaccine. My vaccine hesitancy end there.

And what exactly is he getting away with here, or for that matter, possibly could? Being able to be there for two weeks for a single purpose, work hard and recover (and not much else), promote the sport (and himself) and not come back for a year?

In any case, the entire argument of the Aussie government is based on the fact that he could fuel or give credence to the antivax movement in Australia. That's it! His medical exemption from vaccination, his application form...everything was (directly or indirectly) validated by the government.

Selfless people don’t harass and demand the strip of another person’s bodily autonomy for their own fake sense of cuddly blanked “security”, and then pat themselves on the back. Selfless people volunteer in hospitals.

I mean, yeah, all of the above when many people can't even get into the country in the first place and haven't been able to for the past 2 years.

That is 100% the Australian people's problem, as you correctly pointed out a few pages back. If the Australian people are truly angry about Djokovic potentially "getting away with it," they should realize they're being played (pun intended) and vote the corrupt politician out of the office.
