Dark theme or Light Theme - Which do you prefer?

As some of you may have noticed we have two different forum themes to choose from; The new space grey Dark Theme and the original blue/white combo in the Light Theme. Which do you guys prefer? Let us know!

Prefer the dark theme. The light theme is good as well however, the spacey background doesn't quite show in the light theme.

Also the Dark theme for me. Since i am using almost only dark themes wherever possible any light theme just hurts my eyes. I also think most light themes look cheap.. sorta...
I had the old forum on dark mode through Chrome as well.

For me it have to be the light theme, find it more relaxing for the eyes.

Is it possible to make the "About us" section (the greyed out section) smaller in height? It seems to be taking up a bit too much space.

I've found that the DarkReader extension severely slows down my browser, sometimes to the point of crashing, especially if I open a lot of tabs (such as when browsing the forum). Plus, it doesn't always work perfectly (as one can see with those white icons). An integrated dark theme works best in any case.

Yes, your right about it sometimes being slower. But as long as many sites still aren't offering a integrated dark theme its all we have. When browsing in the evening white themes are sometimes just too bright.

Do you mean in the footer, at the bottom of the page?

Yep. The part which has the About us, quick navigation and user menu.

Decreased the size a bit. Don't think I can do it more without it looking slightly badly designed.

Dark mode is easier to my eyes. The light theme somehow are just too bright

Dark modes are usually hit and miss for me. But in this specific case, I prefer the dark mode.

I can honestly never see myself using light mode. I have dark mode on Reddit, Youtube, Facebook, Windows 10, Twitter and so on.

Same here. Got the dark mode wherever possible, and wherever I spend a lot of time. Just glad to finally have it here as well.

Interestingly enough, I always find light themes more aesthetically pleasing, but it isn't the case with this one. I think the dark theme looks better overall, but I do agree with @Hensmon here.
