Signed up for the Business Run competition in April. Lots of companies competing in a 5k run. It's in April. On one hand, I can't wait, but on the other, I haven't even started training.

Thanks for the advice (point 2 I completely missed)!5 km is perfectly doable in 2 months m8, just be sure to
1: have good/get good shoes and don't fuck up your knees (like i did)
2: have a proper run scedule up to 6 km (instead of 5)
3: practice your dabbing in front of the ladies when you cross the finish line
I've cut sugar from my diet dude, as in no soft drinks and I only eat rolled oats but very small amount and that's with water and fruitsI nearly touched 100kg last month. Dropped to 89 last week
trick: cut all sugar and carbs
Did you cut carbs aswell?I've cut sugar from my diet dude, as in no soft drinks and I only eat rolled oats but very small amount and that's with water and fruits
Yes, I don't eat fries or coca cola and only oats and vegetables and fruits. Carbs are next to impossible to avoid, most food contain carbohydrates.Did you cut carbs aswell?
I can relate to this. The symptoms of my clinical depression 3 odd-what years back have faded to the point where they're not only manageable, but at times ignore-able.I can't feel like I used to it's there but it's not there fully if that makes sense.
ai, speedy recovery man.Have a knee injury for what feels like almost 2 months now. A soccer session + powerlifting were the likely culprits, yet even after little activity it didn't get better. Playing soccer in the meantime once every 1-2 weeks didn't make it better though. I was hoping return to activity might make the ligaments and tendons a bit stronger, but soccer is probably a bit too extreme. Need to rehab it at the gym for sure, possibly even visit the doc.
So last year I stopped 3 times to take a walk during the race because I couldn't go on anymore, and the time was 28:46. I didn't run for a long time, all my physical activity was playing soccer 1h a week, and that was it.Signed up for the Business Run competition in April. Lots of companies competing in a 5k run.
