It’s good to see a lot of you like this genre as well, I am going to start my postings here by showing my favorite album this year, don’t know if some of you follow this type of hardcore/underground Hip-Hop but here you go, it’s some of the realest stuff I’ve heard this year. It is not for everybody but, what it lacks in intensity is offset by powerful bars, top tier production and engagement to the whole vision of the project. I really recommend what Griselda has been putting out lately if you’re into this type of Hip-Hop.

Sure doesn't! Love Earl's transition to more experimental stuff over his strange career.
I don't ever recommend doing this usually but take a look at the youtube comments

still working on my first hip hop track...beat is done...i gotta lay down the verses and the hook...i still need to practice my delivery, flow, rhythm, cadence, keeping in time, and injecting emotion to the lyrics...rapping is a lot harder than it seems lol

Some good vibes here.Hiphop doesnt always need to be dead-serious imo.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh that hook is like a warm hug with a hot cup of coffee while looking at a snowy Swedish winter through the window inside a warm room under a blanket next to a fireplace.

Z's verses are a bit weak though.

Had to post this here. It was so good seeing the OG’s together and to me seeing Em perform maybe my favorite track ever was amazing. I felt like a kid all over again. What a time to be alive.

Strangely enough, I would usually love seeing them all...but this somehow didn't work for me at all. Could be I was a bit drowsy at 2 AM, but I've also enjoyed this sort of music looooong ago, when I was half my age. Since then a lot has happened to my taste, not just overall but with hip-hop as well, and maybe I got tired of the overplayed classics.

Dre as a centerpiece also doesn't work for me, he has no energy. Em seems like a completely different guy, 50 got broke 50 times and is not in it anymore. Mary was pretty ok, Kendrick had way better songs for the occasion. The only untouchable one was Snoop. I don't know if it's the result of 50 blunts a day but at 50, this guy still has it. Life of the party, pure energy.

dID I POST THIS?

dope as fuck. she outclasses males in the swaglevel imo. love the smooth swag

Female version of R. Kelly. Does she also pee on people?

Is this hip-hop though? Nevertheless, it's so fucking good, very smooth. Love these sort of songs, this one goes straight into my special little playlist.

Also, this might be one of the rare songs where I felt that autotune was used to great effect.

Thought the superbowl show was great, as did everyone I was with. Love that they had those classic guys together playing the OG songs. Superbowl is usually 100% cheese modern pop generic, this was so much better. You telling me you didnt sing along?

It's just a show, it was just a game...how I saw it. Was not overly hyped this year, don't think I would've cared if they had The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit himself Armin van Buuren performing at the half-time show.
