as a trance/techno producer type I sometimes get some funny looks when I tell people I'm a hip hop head but screw those people they're wrong. got into rap way before I even heard about trance, lately I listen to a lot of DOOM, Ransom, Chino XL for example but this track is absolutely phenomenal. black thought leaves earth every time

Used to love Eminem and D12. Years have passed until a random Deezer Flow played some D12/Eminem stuff and reminded me they still exist.

This track though I never liked, I don't know why. Tastes certainly do change.

Ransom is a great MC I've gotten into this last year or so. he scratches that "super dense bars/multi syllabic patterns" itch really well

Lil Dicky's 2nd album is out now. It's labeled as a soundtrack from his series, DAVE. So I know most of the tracks, and most of them are very underwhelming.

In general, I think his series are much better than his music.

But there are some proper gems too.


The most convoluted 9-minute rap. Hilarious.
