[Horizons]

Hello again everyone,

here with another release on my own label, this time from...myself.

This release is somehow introducing the new music direction my label will be taking, by focusing on "more trancey" sounding originals (which will be for the majority my productions) and giving freedom to the selected Remixers to re-create new music journeys into different other progressive genres.

Track will be out on Beatport/Spotify/Apple Music from June 4th 2021.

Very nice indeed. Rich in content as usual. You are clearly inspired by trance of old. Maybe your best work yet?

Not sure how you could improve. Maybe make the main lead synths more defined and punchy? Sounds to me like they are somewhat difficult to distinguish from the strings in the background.

Not sure how you could improve. Maybe make the main lead synths more defined and punchy? Sounds to me like they are somewhat difficult to distinguish from the strings in the background.

Cheers for the feedback, surely I'll pay closer attention to these details, after 2 months from finishing it I already feel like wanting to make a remix of it, just saying lol. Totally see where you're coming from and thank you again for the very nice words, it surely is one of the tracks I'm very happy of.

Not bad but didn't really connect with it. The idea is nice but the overlapping synths sound too chaotic for my taste and mask the character of the bass/low ends and generally stop me from feeling the elements breathe. Percussion is a bit basic too I think. Would love more 'organic' sounds that really come through.

Glad you are doing more Trancey stuff though I think it will be good move especially if most of the remixes will be modern prog sound.

Thanks for stopping by and share this feedback. Re listening to the tune these days, I can certainly feel some elements that could definitely be reworked much better starting from some mid-high synth sounds chosen.
Yes, correct, more trance-inspired releases will be lined up later this year regarding original mixes, certainly be sounding way different than the current trend.

Agree on this, I'm digging especially that last part a lot but unfortunately it's too chaotic for the ear and I can't appreciate the main lead enough

Thank you Marco! Certainly I'll focus on this aspect too much more carefully with my next tracks I'm working on.

I really don't hear a lot of "journey" style tracks in the prog scene. You're one of the rare ones who make those. The production could be improved a bit, but overall I always like your ideas.
