It's just the fact we're being told it will come, and then delaying, multiple times in a row. I don't mind waiting, it's the handling of it. Repeated promises and delaying. That is the only issue here. I can wait bloody 15 years for it. But building tension up and dropping into the abyss...

Dunno, I saw him in Melbourne late 2024 and was expecting an open to close plodfest, but tbh (as usual) he was great.
He yet again won over a new generation and kept the oldies happy.
Tbh a lot on his label doesn't do it for me - but he owns the sound he plays so much, he just knows how to make it work on the dancefloor and in the process makes most other big name trance DJs sound like baby music.

Well, both of them have distanced themselves from melodic /euphoric Trance and progressive trance. I am no longer working alongside either of them but JOOF has dropped the trance label the only positive change they've introduced is the change of beatport tagging but that's also thanks to Daniel Lesden and Enlusion . I would maybe call their tracks more dark/hypnotic progressive house especially with Airwave since that's pretty much all he spins.

It's not really hate it's more like feedback and criticism. There is a huge difference. Hate is just abuse and making someone feel bad and destroying their self esteem.

John hasn't released a single track in years, it's ridiculous to say that he jumped on some sort of a "band wagon". He's been the train himself for many years, moving away from the mainstream every time when certain genre becomes very popular.

I think the criticism is aimed towards more to do with his track selection and what he plays in his sets whether it be radioshow or live sets and not just his productions/remixes. Nothing wrong with going mainstream or being popular but I don't agree when shitty tracks get popular and mainstream that's what I have a problem with like with Armin's tracks. JOOF also stopped playing the wonderful back catalogue tracks from Mistique Music and their clone labels back then and now they just sound like watered down progressive house/organic house/tech house that are hardly hypnotic (This goes for both the tracks being played on his show and the releases on Mistique Music and similar labels).

Once again, he is just providing FEEDBACK about these new tracks , his track selection on his show and it's criticism about his new album/tracks which feature on the album and so did I. I mean if you eat a restaurant you just don't pay or finish the food if you don't like it do you if it's RAW meat?
