Once again, he is just providing FEEDBACK about these new tracks , his track selection on his show and it's criticism about his new album/tracks which feature on the album and so did I. I mean if you eat a restaurant you just don't pay or finish the food if you don't like it do you if it's RAW meat?

Don't worry I've already made sure that I won't see any future comments from him, just like from a few other individuals from this forum

I havent been interesting in anything from him or his label in a while. Last tune I actually enjoyed was Clouds of Karma.

Well, then you or JOOF are not really taking any feedback from him or feedback fully. If it was abuse then I would totally understand but this is what he thinks about a particular track from the album or the tracks being played on his show. You are free to put him on the ignore list but I don't think his comment can be perceived as hate speech. It's like how Anjunabeats forum and JOOF forum was shutdown when I started to comment on his track selection or A&B track selection and A&B banned me for taking them on and questioning their motives and I got banned for it and both Arksun and Jer Cyberbullied me too by changing my avatar to "Sad Little Man" . You are welcome to not like my comments or feedback but once again it's how I feel about these tracks compared to what trance used to sound and feel and that's what missing from his show and other trance radioshows because his old sets and productions were great why can't we have more of that in a more innovative way?

But it feels like the samples I am hearing has no emotional connection in the present moment when I am hearing the track (because of a lazy effort) compared that to their older tracks which had all of that and more. I feel the same way about Armin too it pains me to see him the tracks he makes and plays on his show compared to what he used to play on his show and sets and make. I want to hear more emotional euphoric/melodic and emotional trance, hypnotic trance of old like Envio -Touched by the sun, Chicane, Low, Leaving Town, Saltwater or diigtal blonde - antico, Fire & Ice - Heart & Mind, or Cape Town - Pitstop, Basic Dawn - Pure Trust (NU NRG Remix) they all have timeless plays and there is a reason for that because they sound GORGEOUS in the present moment unlike most of the tracks releases that get tagged under "Trance" they are just put on stores or soundcloud just for the sake of it and most of the current releases just don't offer any gratification they have no shelf life as well hence why they feel robotic.

John 00 Fleming said that this album will be released on March, and there will also be a 'special album' this year, will it be a 00.db album?
I'll believe it when I see it. Blondie told me 4+ years ago his part was done, yet we still have no news or previews.

That second one seems to be cool, with that proper old and good JOOF sound to it.
Agreed, 2nd track is the highlight out of the three thus far. While I would of course love for a return to his mental early 2000s (or even Nine Lives) sound, I feel this does a great job blending both the old and new styles. The other two tracks sound too techno-ish for my taste, but this being JOOF, I will of course wait for a full release and judge it afterwards.

It's said that Mar 8th is Official Album Release Party, is it mean the album will be released at that day (or 3.7 Friday, 3.10 Monday)?

I like to excuse for a longer post now:

If this has to be announced until 2020, I would be extremely excited because John once 'rescued' me from hating the modern trance scene back around 2008/2009 when many labels went rouge to release Electro/Trouse/Popshit. During these fearful times there was J00f. Just the ultimate hope. Back then, you simply could buy everything from J00f and be sure that it's high quality trance production without exception.

These times are long gone meanwhile. Even Mr. Fleming went generic in the past years, especially since he renamed his monthly show to J00F Radio. The precursor 'Global Trance Grooves' was mostly really what the name stands for. Global. Trance. Grooves. Intense and Organic. Fuck yes. I really really loved it.
I listened to nearly every episode since circa 2006 until the end in 2019. Sadly, the label's quality slowly dropped around 2015 but there were still very good releases on that way. If we talk about J00f by beginning of the 2010s it was the best trance label in the world. No exception.

However nowadays there are one or maybe two J00f releases I am really interested into because mostly the quality remains generic since years now (and therefore just boring for me). It still gives me tears when I think about J00f today. Because the label was so damn good back in the time. Even in present, I really try it with every new J00f release but hardly find any interesting trance music (or 'deep trance' as he called it today). It's 80% the same generic melodic house like thousands of other releases. :(

To be fair, the samples here in the vids sounds indeed interesting, the albums title is great and reminds me of his old epic releases. And of course, I will also buy John's new album because old love never gets roasted. ;) But I'm pretty sure it will be just 50% modern Psytech-Technotrance and 50% generic Melodic House. Unfortunately. Hopefully there will be 1-2 tracks which might ewake my interest again.

Sorry for being so pessimistic but John's recent sets and J00f releases unfortunately killed many hopes.

Anybody here have been to the album release party last night? How is it like and any new information?

And is there anything new could reveal?
Yep, myself and Standard Form had a very enjoyable afternoon/evening - hard to tell exactly what was an album track and what wasn't, but I'm assuming a lot of the gorgeous downtempo intro section (well, about an hour!) was. Some proper dancefloor moments, and we managed to dance for nearly the whole 7 hours with only a 20 minute sit down for a quick rest.

It was really busy, really wide age range present as well, which was lovely to see.

Apologies that doesn't really answer the questions, but it was a great event, and we were quite proud of ourselves for surviving from start to finish. Justified popping in to Five Guys for a burger + fries on the way home :ROFLMAO:

The release of the album is delayed again, pretty much finished and aiming for later this year.

@Enlusion Something you can pass onto John we would love more actual melodic/euphoric and hypnotic Trance on the label and other labels too because that's why we are here and that's why we supported JOOF in the past and all of the other artists in the first place. I am open for expanding their horizon but if their heart is not in Trance then I would suggest release tracks under a different alias if they are thinking of releasing other genres. JOOF label has majority a "Trance" label because that legacy is what brought them success and with the odd progressive house and techno but I agree with the sentiments here from @juracid and even @trancedanne which I know you've ignored him. I don't think you can allow a genre like to Trance to survive if only a handful of guys are making euphoric/uplifting and melodic trance it's disappointing and disheartening to see this as well.

The tracks I am referring to Rasa Lila (Siberian Sun Remix), Hibernation/Timegate by AR52, and many many others. It's disappointing that AI tracks sound better than the actual recent releases on JOOF. This stupid trend of labels releasing so many minimal tech/ minimal progressive house has to end and this is coming from someone who like progressive house and would like to see melodic, hypnotic and euphoric Trance music thrive once again. Frankly, I would love to see Digital Blonde featured on JOOF but I have noticed that his releases have been on other labels as well.

With all respect due, I really don't like to be teased like this!
It is really annoying.
Really sorry about that, just joking. I was quite shocked to saw the album delayed to next year again, I used to believe it must be this year.

But yes, good music requires a lot of time and I can wait for it.

I don't mean you, I mean John.

He literally wrote the album is finished and we have to wait until next year for it.
