I like to excuse for a longer post now:
If this has to be announced until 2020, I would be extremely excited because John once 'rescued' me from hating the modern trance scene back around 2008/2009 when many labels went rouge to release Electro/Trouse/Popshit. During these fearful times there was J00f. Just the ultimate hope. Back then, you simply could buy everything from J00f and be sure that it's high quality trance production without exception.
These times are long gone meanwhile. Even Mr. Fleming went generic in the past years, especially since he renamed his monthly show to J00F Radio. The precursor 'Global Trance Grooves' was mostly really what the name stands for. Global. Trance. Grooves. Intense and Organic. Fuck yes. I really really loved it.
I listened to nearly every episode since circa 2006 until the end in 2019. Sadly, the label's quality slowly dropped around 2015 but there were still very good releases on that way. If we talk about J00f by beginning of the 2010s it was the best trance label in the world. No exception.
However nowadays there are one or maybe two J00f releases I am really interested into because mostly the quality remains generic since years now (and therefore just boring for me). It still gives me tears when I think about J00f today. Because the label was so damn good back in the time. Even in present, I really try it with every new J00f release but hardly find any interesting trance music (or 'deep trance' as he called it today). It's 80% the same generic melodic house like thousands of other releases.
To be fair, the samples here in the vids sounds indeed interesting, the albums title is great and reminds me of his old epic releases. And of course, I will also buy John's new album because old love never gets roasted.

But I'm pretty sure it will be just 50% modern Psytech-Technotrance and 50% generic Melodic House. Unfortunately. Hopefully there will be 1-2 tracks which might ewake my interest again.
Sorry for being so pessimistic but John's recent sets and J00f releases unfortunately killed many hopes.
