Vans were very cheap, the Nikes...not so much. At least that's my footwear sorted, hopefully until the end of year.

Please don't judge the Nikes' colors though. The black ones were 20€ more expensive and I wasn't gonna spend more on something that I'm gonna abuse mostly by running.

A replica Lament Configuration Puzzle Box from Hellraiser. I'm a big fan of the book (shown behind) ... Well obviously it's a replica, I don't fancy summoning sado masochists from hell into my living for the sake of a bookshelf ornament! :p
It's quite hefty in weight actually and you can reconfigure it as well. Really well made for the price.

I've ordered a few little trinkets and oddities as bookshelf ornaments, I'll post some pictures when I have them all delivered and set out.

I wish I did splash out... One run and a few short walks, they are dirty already. Don't believe I can return them now and pay more for the other ones. Crap.

Ok, I was at Decathlon. I can safely say it was a good thing the bill was not over 80 EUR. I'm afraid I'm just not done yet...

So for now it was some light shorts, a cheap T-shirt, a seamless running T-shirt, a foldable mat for hiking, and a deodorizer for shoes (which I'll use on my backpack as it fucking reeks).

Decided to ditch my Samsung S23+ and get an S24 (regular, smaller version). Bought it today brand new for 650€, and will sell the old one for 500 once I complete the setup.

So far I'm still getting used to a smaller frame, but only when I'm typing - I absolutely wanted a smaller screen. I also noticed it runs slightly hotter, and battery life might suffer. There are some disadvantages probably, but it looks spectacular, plus I got a brand new phone for 150€.

My car's front tires are basically dead. Even with rotations, they only lasted 22.5k miles :/

So I just bought a full set of 19 inch Hankook Ion Evo all-season tires, which are the trendiest electric vehicle tires at the moment. They were expensive, but they should last a long time. They'll get to the shop next week, so I'll just drive there after work and get the new tires mounted!

Head Speed MP tennis racket. It's used, but is supposed to be in a good condition. Can't wait for it to arrive - have 90 minutes of tennis today and another 120 on Sunday. Let's hope I get to use it at least on Sunday.

These arrived at the pickup point. I shall play good tennis in these. They were very cheap, so hoping they just fit well and all will be good.

Just received my (signed) vinyl of Solarstone's Pure album. What a treat! Forgot how awesome this album is. Many gems on this record. Rich singing is always a bit cheesy but i like it😏 #memories #nostalgia

Just purchased a freshly released 2TB Extreme Pro SanDisk branded micro SD card to store of all my music (and still have lots of free space) in lossless. Not cheap at all (but still much cheaper than the Kioxia released 6 months ago on the Japanese Amazon) but state of the art technology.

Just ordered these. Only size left in the entire country for this color, so hopefully the fit is good. Got Gore-Tex lining so hopefully performs well in the (present and coming) rainy weather. And it's just good-looking as well, could just about wear it with most things excluding a full suit.

Super-comfy. I don't even feel them while walking. Gore-tex membrane is an issue when it's even remotely warm outside, but I know why I got these. My next ones will surely be Kaha Low GTX.

In other news, got a pair of regular-ass blue jeans and a down jacket from Decathlon I've been chasing for a year. It was never available in my size - checked regularly on the webshop. However, I went to the store and there it was, the only one available in that size. Must be their devs didn't develop the inventory/availability functionality correctly OR people handling it aren't doing their job well. One can often see it in my line of work.

Just recently booked some tickets, accommodations and attractions for my upcoming trip to Vietnam with my wife via Klook. We have been planning this trip since March of this year and its almost happening. 2 weeks from now we’ll be flying.

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III + Olympus M.Zuiko 14-42mm II R + additional original battery + a memory card
(both used)

This isn't the first time I've wanted to buy a camera, or specifically that camera. It's been on and off for quite some time. I adore hiking and going to new spots, and I often take loads of photos. But after a while, I felt my phone was a bit limiting, especially in terms of overall image quality. Something I can set as a background on my 43" monitor, let's say.

So when my savings increased a bit and I got that itch again, I decided to spend them on the camera. It's a new toy - I certainly don't plan on using it professionally, but I did enjoy playing with it over the weekend.

The biggest advantage for me is the weather-sealing of the body. That means I can take shots in bad weather, which is just awesome. But, for that I would also need a PRO lens, which is another relatively large investment. Oh well.

I went to Decathlon, and the inevitable happened.

I bought THREE (number: 3) pairs of gloves. I already have very thin merino wool gloves as a base layer, so I bought a thicker fleece pair, as well as thin waterproof mittens. That's my hiking system done. I also bought a cheap pair of fleece gloves for general use.

Next was a replacement cap for my insulated bottle.

And finally, a camera bag. It's a bit larger than required - I'm thinking a simple fanny pack would've sufficed - but it can be used to store other stuff for easy access.
