I bought one of those 'game console' emulator boxes from amazon - which has over 100,000 games from pretty much every old console. Ive been wanting to buy one for ages - its just amazing to have it to dip into every now and then,it feels like its my whole childhood in one tiny box....the Megadrive & C64 collection is alone worth the money for me but as i never had a SNES,its amazing to go back and play some of those games.

big volume board for big waves & little wind 😎 expands my surf range from 5 to 9 to 3,5 to 9 bft conditions,

also leaves every single foiler/ kiter firmly in the dust heh.

Oops, I did it again.

I ran twice in quite a while recently, and now I got myself some ultra running shoes, a running shorts and a running T.

Craft CTM Ultra Lumen running shoes. They look stunning, although from above, the toebox is too wide compared to the arch. That's not something to my taste, but compared to the Hokas I could find at the same pricepoint, these are lighter and much more interesting. I love how light and breathable they are. Let's hope it gets me off my ass.

Just got this absolute BEAST. My most expensive purchase to date. My current bike is sexy and I love it, but this season in Canada I leveled in a big way in my skills, hitting bigger jumps, dropping off bigger gaps and now taking on the technical black downhills with more confidence as well. Upgrade absolutely required. Now I have even more suspension for harder hits, better brakes and a unique set-up of 29" tire at the front (to eat all the rough features) and 27" on the back, to havehave loads of play with jumps and corners. Cannot wait to try this out.

$4.8k

Thankfully work gives me $2000 to spend on mental and physical wellness each year, so I just blew it all on this bike. And I will probably get at least 2.5k for my previous bike, so should be all good when all is said and done.

That is a HOT! bike. Noice!

Lately I’ve been thinking about my mountain biking days. Miss them. Definitely want to get back into it at some point.

When i started dating a lady My bike got stolen. I had it locked up in the landing of my block of flats i used to live in.
Didn’t check on it for weeks, as really being in a slight dream world having met this lady. Then one day a neighbour/mate says to me. Rob, do you keep your bike somewhere else now. ??? Im like wff! It had been gone a while so couldn’t get it back.

I did eventually marry that lady, so pros & cons I guess! 😁🫶

I haven't bought myself a T-shirt in what feels like ages. Can't ever seem to find a T-shirt in plain colours, with no print or anything. Just a T-shirt that fits me ok and isn't too slim fit or oversize fit or whatever the kids are wearing these days. Oh, and it shouldn't cost a lot of money - fashion has taken quite a huge backseat in the past year.

So today I bought 7, all plain colours: white crew-neck, white polo, white band-collar, black crew-neck, black polo, dark green polo, light brown crew-neck. All around 10$ a piece.

Ordered myself some white(ish) high-top Chuck 70s. Went to try them on, thought they looked great, and ordered them online from a different shop (because they were significantly cheaper). Thank God for eCommerce.

I feel like I discovered hot water.

They've been hugely popular for years, and here I am, 10 years late to the party.

NGS-Hydro-Iso-Protein-3kg_1.jpg

3kgs iced coffee flavour it's like heaven. Best tasting protein powder ever.
So I bought this the other day however, they changed the packaging and constituents like the protein amounts and everything has changed without telling me. Now, they want me to cough out my own money to give it back to them. I am taking them to court about it because they are breaking the law because it's not fit for the purpose and it doesn't match the description either.

Finally got my hands on them yesterday. I ordered them for my trip to Rome, ON TIME, but delivery was absolutely shit, not picking them up from the store for 3 days (delivery was supposed to be in 3 days). Made a few polite calls to remind the company to deliver them on time, and a few unpleasant ones when it was clear that wasn't happening.

Happy I got them but still very much unsatisfied with the store. They provided no actual help, giving me dumb excuses and shifting blame to the delivery company all the time. And if there is one thing that gets my blood boiling is avoidance of any responsibility.

It's capitalism-time in the land of Archon!

I liked what my barber did with my poor excuse of a beard...so I bought myself a Philips MG7950/15 multi-grooming trimmer! Loads of features of which I'll use like 20%, but I like having good gear.

It was pretty much very expensive at ~110 EUR - it's loads more than what I'd give for a trimming gadget, but I had my eye on it for a while - and when I do, I'm (unfortunately) unstoppable. It's something that will last me for years to come, so it's an investment, but at the same time, for the same or nearly same amount of money I would've been able to get things I needed much more...

Pet feeder and Phonak Audeo hearings aids from the hearing aid store for my mom.
She wanted to have those for a while now and i finally found them with a very good discount.
Hope she will enjoy the sound quality this time and have them for couple of years at least.

I was just saving money for the camera, but I needed (which is always a relative term with me) some boots, so after trying out dozens, finally found the ones I liked the most. Of course, they were also the most expensive.

1460 smooth leather Doc's. They do look amazing.

Alright, so since December I spent very little on anything at all. I had loads of extra costs and two trips so no extra money was spent. I was also a good boy and still managed to save enough moneys.

Besides that, I worked hard as fuck these few months. This month I had 8h of (paid) overtime, so I decided to spend it on stupid shit I needed but could never just part ways with my money for it. Well, today I got a paycheck and already ordered these:

A watch strap for my Garmin. Hopefully this takes care of the skin irritation and degrading silicone band quality: New Colors!

And two cases for my phone from Samsung - one is a transparent gadget case, and the other is a plastic/silicone case. Got both on a stupid discount - last year they cost 3-4 times as much.
