Hoff Summers is not a feminist icon. She's actually anti-feminist and closer to far-right ideals from the likes of Milo. She opposes the gender wage gap, Title IX, supported Gamergate, and isn't fully on-board with abortion as a human right (instead, a "moral dilemma"). Her beliefs: are just like the manifesto which got James Damore fired from Google. There's a reason she is receiving praise from men's rights activists and is buddies with Jordan Peterson: because she is not a feminist. Author, philosopher with impressive academic credentials - sure. Feminist, heck no.

Personally, irl I wouldn't bad an eye if someone watched a couple videos of Jordan Peterson, especially from his pre-crazy era. I'd even give them some leeway if they read 12 Rules and got something out of it. That's a very easy rabbit hole to fall into, though, and someone who is an ardent follower of Jordan Peterson/Crowder/Shapiro/Andrew Tate (no, I won't separate them, to me all 4 of them are equals) would give me reeeeally weird vibes. And no, no one is going to tell you "you're a sexist misogynist" to your face, but you will notice people getting a weird vibe from you.

No, He accepts that they exist, which they do, and explains why they exist. and, among which, why pushing ideologies that try to top down get rid of them. (so basicallly don't acknowledge them/ incorporate them), Like the brand of feminism you seem to be a part of, lead to the opposite effect. Namely an increase in gender differences instead of a decrease.

Peterson is, for instance, very much on board with woman having the abbility to choose their own path in life, (and has even helped plenty women with advancing their carreers) calling it: "bringing in as many people as possible in the same game" Which is in no way any sort of medival wife-beating esq social structure.

As much as I've enjoyed our interactions over the past couple of days, I just wanted to point out that The Right Stuff is failing epically, as have all other right-wing dating apps.

Also, in the US, the stereotypical Trump supporter/Republican is not a gigachad that goes to the gym. Instead, it's usually a tone-deaf college student from a very wealthy family, or an overweight middle-aged/old white dude who wishes he had gone to the US military.

It is indeed a níce group within that side of the political spectrum that does and seen as yes, most dating apps and usage of those are popular in predominately liberal US areas like New York or Los Angeles. So it makes sense for "Bodega bro's " there or just visiting there (who don't have much of a problem banging liberal girls despite their ideological preference) to go alter their profiles a bit.

Austin is one of the most liberal cities in TX (possibly the most liberal) with a solid professional workforce. Plenty of people there are interested in fitness and enjoy outdoor activities. If anything, Austin is *too* liberal to the point that the rich white people working tech jobs and the minorities that have been living in Austin since forever are heavily segregated. But that's a rant for another day.
