Ricky Smith aka The Digital Blonde has remixed one of the trance anthems.

It's getting an official release, most likely on JOOF.

Here's the video of him playing the world exclusive premiere of "Dreams" remix at Dance Love Hub, London, 8th of October 2022.

And here's a longer version - John 00 Fleming playing it at INFINITY, ADE, Amsterdam, 22nd of October 2022.

Quench - Dreams (The Digital Blonde Remix) [starting from 1:14:48]

I see Ricky went back to the cathedral trance sound for his remix, very appropriate given the original! Could have done with a few more bells, but overall this is a solid remix. Would not call it TOTY, Legato '22 is his best track this year imo (he's been rather quiet in 2022, can we please get the 3rd act of the 00.db trilogy already!)

Probably the best Blonde track from the year. Massive.

Yummy, I thought I was tired of Dreams remixes.... But this one is quit nice, kind of reminds me of his remix of Gamemaster for obvious reasons ;)

Hey as a Melbournian I'm kind of offended by this thread. Lmao Dreams is our tune.
Umek already did a fantastic remix of this - but the original is always the supreme and tbh it's always gunna be great no matter who remixes it.

Now my final advice is to go and listen to Jordan Tilstones new banger -Poltergiest- and tell me how much of the original Dreams is in that....?

I've always rather liked Paul Sawyer's version at the more proggy end of the spectrum

I am from Melbourne too but I am not offended at all. Most people don't know this tune they are too much into R&B and pop music. The trance scene in Melbourne is dead too.

Its all festivals here now with a rinse and repeat of the same artists. So boring...... Trance scene was rocking from 2000-2010 that included festivals and clubs with international DJs.

Hey sucks to be you, but I'm oldskool (I grew up with amphetamine & liquid) and Quinny & Dolan's tune along with stuff like Pappas Skydive were all timers when I was young and still are. Shit like that lead to guys like Factor B, Jamie Stevens, Luke Chable GMJ etc being legit international players.
And with current guys like Cybernet & Suki etc carrying the tradition on - maybe you're looking for trance in the wrong places?
