What in the Rocket League is this?

Omg - this is the most cringiest thing ive seen in the Trance scene. What was this guy doing 5 years ago? (his first ever release was 2019)

So this Millionnaire woke up one morning and instantly wanted to be a superstar Trance producer. So he got ghost producers to make his tracks, get released on big labels like FSOE. And now hes making videos where theres a super imposed animated crowd thinking hes god.....and then he has the cheek to offer mentoring talks?!

I cant stand this guy,and one of the reasons i dont really like the modern Trance scene. And the fact that hes got well known established producers and labels backing him. Jesus wept.

I'd like to propose changing the title of this topic.

shocking stuff that destroys OUR scene to, shocking stuff that destroys the existing trance scene.

1. its a bit self-serving to claim a whole scene as your or ours, a fringe group, (its the same problem i have with phrases like "our democracy") but that even aside

2. I don't know how about you lot, but I for one don't identify with this, whatever this "the scene" is anymore. and would much rather view it from a distance, laughing at its absurity.

Basically I believe that at this point its better to just start "our" own scene if you will and if that makes sense. I don't even want to be a part of that anymore or even be associated with it.

We have to admit he's pushing the limits. Of "fake it till you make it" mentality, but still.

When is his next lecture by the way? Asking for a friend.

Ive been trying to look into the background of this guy, seeing as hes only been in Trance a few years, and he looks like hes in his 50's. He has a mansion,so im guessing he made his fortune in a totally different business.

Bro with that kind of money he'd be better off throwing a few bucks at *real* (good) trance producers instead of getting shitty ghost producers and faking having an audience and expertise. This is the difference between being a patron of the arts and being a self-absorbed charlatan.

Could be haha, but the money has to come from somewhere to pay for all these ghost tracks. He had a business called 'Bickert Investments LLC' in Alabama - but that has closed now apparently.
His linkedin page was very vague, but based on a different website I got the impression that his company dealt with loans for real estate investments

That Chapter47 guy gave an online lesson about music production. He did this for a British university.

I signed up for his lecture for free and got the MS Teams link. I asked him if it was a good idea to buy plays and purchase your own track to get High in the charts.

he says “you can, but I wouldn’t do it. I really wouldn’t haha. But if you want to know more, email me after the class”.

Really happened. Gagi and Hens were there too as I gave them the MS Teams link. They are my witness.
Thats pretty much normal nowadays. There was a german documentary where they did interview a guy who literally had a spotfiy-botnet to farm plays on tracks. Ever wondered why most rap tracks out there are literally only 2 minutes long? The bot can play a 2 min track more often then a 4 min one (twice in the same time) ;) I bet a lot of stuff out there is fake.
