Now that I’ve heard the full version of Activa’s track a few times I think it’s really strong. Subtle but classy. Great work.

Timewarp is a massive one as well. I hope Borderline keeps the quality up and also I like the mixed EPSs. I’d prefer less releases from them but more original and interesting packages.

Ripping EP. I might need to pay attention to Borderline again if stuff like this keeps coming out. I've made fun of Activa in the past for making sterile sounding tracks, but Dark Matter is anything but. Slammer. Also loving Time Warp. Will 2025 be the year that mainstream trance brings back the quality? Wouldn't that be something...

Ah alright. I see what you mean.

The main melodic climatic part in Time Warp is quite short, it could have one more sequence of the melody in it, which would give it a more regular length I think. It's now from 3:17 till 3:58, but I choose for this because the main melody isn't the most complex, therefor it could get repetitive sooner, plus wanted it to keep you a bit "hungry for more", as if you had a great burger, but one more extra bite would have been sooo nice! (In stead of being competely full).

It then goes into that "shaky" melody part, at 4:11, with the shorter notes, without any bass/beat, a moment of ultimate climax, holding your breath, before launching it into that next part, which you meant in your comment. The melody doesn't come back in full form indeed, only the first little part repeated.

I think it leads you towards the end naturally this way, with only a small part of the melody repeating. To be honest I sort of had Tiesto - Adagio For Strings in mind with it too. Check the 8:37 part, when only one note of Adagio is repeated, used in a similar "final part" kind of way. So it's that same "final burst of energy" kind of sequence in Time Warp. 😬

Congratulations. Very good tracks. I really like the creativity in them. I imagine Tiesto playing Time Warp at a party in 2002. Really really good job.

All 4 tracks are okay-ish, not more, I like the sound, the beatwork on all of them, but the melodies are not interesting enough for me
6/10 for all 4 tracks

When did the EP appear on Beatport and Juno Download? I don't think I have seen it before.

I don't know the exact date, but I believe it was a Bandcamp exclusive for a few weeks, before being published on other platforms.

I think it appears this week, as I go on the Beatport site of Borderline maybe twice a week and this is the first time I notice it.
