Finished Ted Lasso, season 3 over a couple of days. Absolutely loved it. Would've wished for more football-related drama, but football here just serves as a vehicle for the drama we get from interpersonal relationships. Some things I felt were unexplored enough, but still, the series are great.
The emotions are portrayed very simply, yet very effectively - that's one of the highlights of the show for me. Like, we see a hint of Ted's panic attack, and his default reaction of staying positive, staying strong and caring about others first. It all happens in 2-3 seconds, but if you pay attention, you feel it. Or like in a certain scene, some fan spews some homophobic shit, unintentionally towards a (secretly) gay footballer. And he just slightly moves his head and sort of stops his body in a short millisecond and continues moving to the locker room. That's the entire reaction! And it's enough to conclude that something is wrong, that this affected him immensely.
All in all, highly recommended.
