Damn.

I like this thread therefore I would like all migrants to leave my country
I know you're joking, but you'd be surprised to learn just how common this specific pipeline is. Not saying you're a bad person or anything, though I will warn you that you as a human being are a lot more susceptible to propaganda than you might think. There is a reason I adblock pretty much everything and heavily curate my feeds

I was today years old when I discovered this 😅

Tenshi's main melody derived from Vangelis's composition 'Light and Shadow', written for the 1992 film release '1492: Conquest of Paradise'

Gouryella - Tenshi (Original Mix) [2000] (starting from 2:54)

Vangelis - Light & Shadow (1992)

Is it even considered plagiarism? I thought it was an unspoken rule that everyones allowed to rip each other off since everyone copies everyone when it comes to Anjuna pluck melody, its not like A.R.D.I. had a completely new idea either since hes copied the trend too. Elami copied his remix basically with a fresher sound to it.

I'd love to know if theres ever been any copyright issues and the outcome etc when it comes to this type of melody.

I look at this trend as an easy/cheap way of going viral and gaining respect from Trance fans of that era by re releasing this melody over and over again with different variations, or they just wanna put their trade mark on it 'oh look here's my take on it' but don't really expect the release to do super well since they're all well aware of the trend itself.

played first at the end of 2009 in shows, released March 2010, relatively unknown

became a huge hit, played during the late spring and summer, released July 2010

The 2010s indeed stand out as a rip-off race where less known artists / tracks got ripped-off fast by artists with more social capital
