The left is not the far worse, at least not in the US.
If our society falls apart because people no longer want to abide by "traditional family values," by religion, by well-defined gender/hierarchical roles, and no longer wsnt to have children, then that society was not worth having at all.
1 the whole world is not the US and not your Austin bubble for that matter.

2 Not one single genocidal dictatorship was ever founded on the principles of free speech and individual expression. Something both the Nazi's and the communists, (both regimes combined slaughered half my family on a personal note by the way), hated with a passion.

I also reject the Frankfurts Schule's interpretation that facism is somehow (fully) right wing. Far to many of its tenets are firmly on the left (Compelled speech, big unquestionable government, group think over individual think, State controlled market, etc.) which is why its not at all odd that every fascist dictator was a socialist first.

for the rest, (and speaking of genocidal and far worse) yes, Any society that does not reproduce and/or mutilates the genitals of the children it does produce irreversibly is not worth having, and will die off.

This has the energy of the dude from Qatar who tweeted, "the West is not the spokesperson for humanity" when a guy with a pride shirt was turned away from the FIFA game. It is true that the whole world is not the US, but I can freely criticize what I think are bigoted viewpoints. Many countries around the world*, and honestly even some religions are clearly bigoted from a US liberal perspective.
And they should be called out, because fuck their shitty beliefs.

The fascism tenets you described are more closely aligned with the US Republican party than with the democratic party

Think about why people aren't having children, and you will get your answer. Young people in their 20s/30s are getting crushed by inflation(due to corporate greed) and lack of affordable housing. Many don't even aspire to be homeowners anymore even if they hace good, well-paying jobs.

The problem with the left is not that it calls and/or seeks out social issues or what it considers to be"shitty beliefs".
The problem, and why I think its worse then the right, lies is the solutions it proposes/enforces, which more often then not either exacerbate the problem or end up resulting in the polar opposite of what it seeks to solve.

No they are not. Sorry, but
- Its your team who's in favor of compelled speech (my handpicked/madeup pronouns or else a lawsuit/ anti offensive speech regulation etc.)
- its your team who thinks everything should be top-down federated
- its you who's constantly obsessed with the group instead of the individual
and its your team who's by far the most in favor of state controlled instead of of (free) bottom up markets.

Inflation, especially the current one, is not being caused by greedy corporations who insist on only building expensive housing for their clients.

Inflation is being caused by banks/government money printing. The high housing prices aside from that are not helped by the fact that you have a huge influx of people coming in, both domestic as foreign, massively increasing the demand as opposed to the supply.

on top of that I find it perversely amusing how the progressives on the one hand do nothing but complain and moan about big immoral corporations everythwere....whilst at the time hysterically clap and cheer on a business models focused on giving life-long cross sex hormones and irreversable surgery to minors. The global sex-reasignment market will soon be worth over a billion dollars, and all the progressives endores it.

They do capitals bidding for it. :ROFLMAO:

Conservatives are the ones pushing for state control of abortion, which is a human right. They're also the ones pushing religious beliefs on everyone else and lobbying for religious (evangelical Christian) favoritism.

Both can be true at the same time. We're living in an era of record corporate profits *and* record inflation. Corporations are price-goughing the cost of goods, not only housing but also basic groceries.

You make an interesting point. The left/liberal side hasn't done a good job at calling out these practices. There is no reason to push sex-reassignment surgery on minors, and frankly there needs to be more backlash against it. That should be a personal decision once the individual reaches adult age. The surgery should NOT be performed on children, and parents should NOT be allowed to "consent" their children to sex-reassignment surgery.

The Conservatives aren't pushing for state controlled healthcare, it has always been state controlled healthcare. and neither being in favor of a independent state-system within a country nor pushing religions values are Fascist Tenets.

You don't know/understand fascism. Its a very specific (set of) ideological axioms and not just "everything I hate or don't like"

and EVEN still.. thats 4 against 2. even if I where to grand you that those where defacto Facist principles which they're not.

Sure, but under a proper free market where the government is not in cahoots with said corporations, e.a. more seperation of market and state (something the republicans/libertarians are way more in favor of then the Dems/progressives) you wouldn't get these monopoly structures and healthy competition would drive the prices down.

you don't want to know how relieved I am to at the very least agree on that with you.

I don't even know where to put this other than maybe the "what's on your mind" thread, but...

I'm so glad wealthy people are losing money on their AirBnB investments. Houses should not be short-term rentals so the owner can get "passive income" and rip off vacationers with cleaning fees and all random bullshit. If you want to play landlord, fucking do it right and actually help the people who need housing. You don't want to lower the price so people can actually rent your property per month? Big deal, enjoy paying off your mortgage yourself. Because you won't find any tenants who will pay for it.

edit: during all my travels in the States last year I never stayed at an AirBnB place. Always hotels. They're just better.
