But have you ever considered doing a (concept) del agrada album?
nope, It just takes time.It takes a lot of talent and vision to pull it off.
Is now too soon on to pre-order?k what i'm trying to say in less then subtle terms @Magnevi
is make a fucking Julian Del Agrada album.
NOW
(and release it on TF:R)
Yeah they started a few releases back with only the short ones on Spotify. It might have to do with the recent policy update from Spotify which makes them more evil and even less attractive for artists and labels.
I use Spotify myself so I do find it a shame but I do understand it.
I know that's what the Armada Labels do, Extended Mix comes 4 weeks later on other platformsI've seen a lot of tracks on Spotify where the initial release only had short mixes, but extended ones were added a couple of weeks later. Hopefully that will be the case here as well.
That's mostly to push buy extendeds off Beatport which is more profitable for the labels, unless they're in the golden pool on Spotify with its algorithms pushing their stuff everywhere. What's the point behind that? People who listen to radio mixes probably don't listen to extended versions anyway (cause too long!). So why not drop them all at the same time?
Personally i don't listen to radio edits. From some tracks the extended versions are completely missing from Spotify btw.
Tbh, I have zero problems with it. I think it has some sort of nostalgic value too. Like... as if you found the track from an old compilation cd.Personally i don't listen to radio edits
Yes, i used to listen to them too of course and had they occasional Hitzone CD etc.. They even had video's sometimes and made it into the top 40. So i understand they have a purpose but that doesn't seem to be happening anymore is it? So it's probably just to push up streams? Same reason pop songs seems to be getting shorter. I rarely listen to the normal radio, do they even play trance music like back then ?Thank you In the mean time the Mirage remix was also played by Stoneface & Terminal in their show, and by Dave Pearce in his show.
Edit:

Trance always had radio edits in it's popular time. Stuff from Rank 1, Ferry, Tiesto etc.
It's the reason I try to really make a proper "radio edit", and not just fade in fade out or whatever.
